What is Eco Schools?
Eco Schools is a seven step programme, run by Keep Britain Tidy.
It operates in over 70 Countries and aims to empower and motivate pupils to drive change and improve environmental awareness in their school, local community and beyond.
Green Flag Certification
Eco Schools is a seven step programme, run by Keep Britain Tidy.
The student lead green council build up a series of points by working on certain topics to achieve certification at the end of the academic year. On completion of the programme, schools can apply for a Green Flag Status, they will be successful if they have enough points. The certificate tells the local community that your school has been actively engaged in inspiring your young people as environmentalists in order to protect our planet.
